Bay City Timing was founded in fall 2021 by Tyler Hurst, a veteran timer with a decade of experience and the encouragement of a handful of trusted race directors who saw the need for a reliable local timing partner. What began as a small operation quickly gained momentum — and in just five years, Bay City Timing has grown into a go-to name in Florida race timing, clocking more than 40 events a year.

Following its acquisition by Junction 311 and partnership with Florida Road Races, Bay City Timing has stepped into a new chapter of growth. The team is actively training the next wave of timers, broadening its service offerings, and expanding its reach across Polk, Pinellas, Pasco, and Hillsborough counties.
